Hi everyone!
My name is Kiek van der Zee and I will be fulfilling the position of internal relations within the next MARUG Board I'm 21 years old and enjoy skiing, cooking, and going out with friends! About 3.5 years ago, I moved from The Hague to Groningen to study Psychology at the University of Groningen.
I'm almost finished with my bachelor's degree and was looking for a new challenge for the upcoming year. I wanted to do something different from studying, and I have always really enjoyed the business-related subjects within psychology. I heard great things about MARUG from friends, and when Carine approached me, I was very excited. When Tim and Sam shared their experiences of meeting so many new people, their personal growth, and all the fun events they'd attended, I knew I wanted to apply for the role of Internal Relations. A few days after my application, I received the exciting news that I was selected for the MARUG Board 2024-2025. I'm really looking forward to all the fun events and the new challenges we will face in the upcoming year!
