Do you have a commercial mindset or experience in sales and marketing? Then the role of Partner Marketing & Sales Manager is for you! Due to our expansion and scaling in Germany under our international brand name, Gomibo, we are looking for a colleague who can establish and maintain relationships in the German language. You will be the face and primary point of contact for our German providers and smartphone manufacturers regarding e-commerce.

The telecom market is constantly changing. Product innovations follow one another rapidly, and fierce competition makes customer loyalty and satisfaction our top priorities. In Germany, telecom e-commerce currently trails the Dutch market in terms of technology and customer service; therefore, we expect to grow rapidly there in the coming years. Through your expertise in relationship management and your powers of persuasion, you will translate Gomibo’s international strategy into concrete objectives and agreements.

What do you do as a Partner Marketing & Sales Manager?

In this role, you are responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining German partnerships with providers and manufacturers such as Deutsche Telekom and the German branch of Samsung.

  • Determining the marketing and sales strategy in Germany alongside founders Jeroen and Jeroen. You have significant freedom in your approach, and new ideas are always welcome.

  •  
  • Coordinating (trade) marketing budgets, provisions, and campaigns for Gomibo Germany. This includes national TV and radio commercials as well as online marketing campaigns.

  • Expanding collaborations with parties like Samsung to increase Gomibo's market share while providing added value to our partners.

  • Ensuring compliance with all agreements. You will work closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Purchasing, Data Driven, and Category Management to ensure everyone is aligned.

Your role

In this position, you carry immense responsibility, as the budgets associated with these commercial agreements are substantial. Gomibo handles everything, purchasing, sales, and marketing, in-house. Because we manage our own media buying and commercial production, communication lines are short, allowing you to move quickly. You will stay informed about German telecom trends 24/7 and anticipate the needs of our partners. Our goal is to become the market leader in Germany and eventually all of Europe; you will be at the helm of this development.

Who are you?

  • You have relevant work experience in marketing and sales within the e-commerce sector, combined with a Master’s degree (WO) or equivalent level of thinking.

  • You are a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, capable of maintaining intensive contact with various external and internal parties.

  •  
  • You are creative, proactive, and structured in your execution.

  • You have a commercial mindset, and relationship management is second nature to you.

  • You are flexible and willing to travel weekly between the Netherlands and Germany to visit your client portfolio.

  • You are fluent in German and have a professional command of either English or Dutch.
