Partnerships of all shapes and sizes
As a Strategic Partnerships & Sales Manager, you represent the Gomibo Group both domestically and abroad. Your task is to establish and maintain commercial partnerships at a strategic level. Your role is of great importance in scaling Belsimpel in the Netherlands and its international equivalent, Gomibo, across Europe.
Multiple commercial teams operate within the Gomibo Group, each focusing on partnerships within their own domain. The specific partnerships you will be responsible for will be determined based on your interests and skills. Through your expertise in relationship management, commercial mindset, and powers of persuasion, you will translate Gomibo’s international vision into concrete objectives and agreements. Partnerships & Gomibo Group
We maintain vital partnerships with manufacturers and suppliers to coordinate commercial agreements, commissions, and budgets. Annually, hundreds of millions of euros worth of products are bought and sold through these parties, making the management of these partnerships crucial.
Additionally, we aim to take our partnerships with providers (operators) in the Netherlands to the next level. We work with parties like Vodafone, T-Mobile, and KPN to close significant deals in marketing, sales, and subscription growth. Using analyses from our data team, we create commercial plans to generate maximum value for both the partner and ourselves.
Beyond maintaining these relationships, we handle major projects such as:

Expanding European partnerships by establishing new collaborations with foreign providers (e.g., Deutsche Telekom).

Adding new product categories to our range, such as streaming services like Netflix and Viaplay.

Marketing our software products as SaaS solutions. With years of experience, we know exactly what is needed for the best customer experience. Through Gomibo, Verifai (ID-verification), and Tulip Assist (insurance), we offer providers worldwide a total solution.
What do you do as a Partnerships Manager?
In this role, you are responsible for:

Establishing and maintaining partnerships with external parties.

Making commercial agreements based on data-driven analyses.

Ensuring compliance with all commercial agreements, collaborating closely with other teams within the Gomibo Group.

Making strategic decisions regarding marketing, sales, and supply chain alongside major partners like Apple, Samsung, Google, and Garmin.
Depending on your skills and personality, the focus of your role may lie in:

Negotiations & Sales

(Trade) Marketing

Expansion into the German market and other future European markets.

B2B sales of SaaS (software) propositions.

Who are you?

You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (WO/HBO) and relevant work experience, preferably in e-commerce, telecom, retail, or the tech industry.

You are commercially minded, independent, and a strong communicator.

You are confident and do not shy away from tough negotiations or difficult conversations.

You are proactive with a hands-on mentality; you enjoy strategic thinking but also like "getting your hands dirty" in the primary business process.

You are flexible and willing to travel bi-weekly for work (e.g., to the Randstad or abroad).
