Your role as a Digital Executive at Omnicom Media

As a Digital Executive, you’ll embark on a challenging training programme where we’ll train you to become a Digital Professional specialising in Search, Display and Social Media Advertising. Through learning, but above all through hands-on experience. From day one, you’ll be setting up and managing online media campaigns for our clients. Of course, it doesn’t stop there, because as a Digital Executive you’ll undertake various training courses in areas such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager and DV360, ensuring your knowledge is always up to date. What’s more, during the training programme, together with your personal coach, we’ll discover what you’re good at – and, more importantly, what energises you. That way, we’ll prepare you as well as possible for your next step within Omnicom Media.

What is Omnicom Media?

Omnicom Media Group is an international media agency; we develop media strategies and plans for our clients and have all the media expertise in-house to bring these campaigns to life. And by all media expertise, we mean everything: TV, Radio, Print, OOH, SEA, Social, Programmatic, SEO, CRO, Voice, E-commerce and Branded Content & Influencers.

We have offices in both Amsterdam and Groningen. For this role, we are currently specifically looking for new colleagues to join our team in Groningen. There, you’ll work alongside an ambitious team, whilst also being part of the wider Omnicom Media network. To keep the connection strong, we have a set day when we meet up at our office in Amsterdam, and we regularly organise team activities and opportunities to get to know each other better.

What we offer you

  • An attractive salary starting at €2,600 🤑. Every 7 months, there is a fixed pay rise of €200. Upon promotion to specialist, you’ll start on a salary of at least €3,000; on average, people progress to specialist within 1.5 to 2 years.
  • A training programme (not a traineeship) in which you’ll learn all the ins and outs of Search, Display and Social Media advertising as a fully-fledged full-time employee;
  • 29 days off per year (27 holiday days + 2 days to use as you wish) to ensure you get the rest you need. You’ll also, of course, receive your holiday pay in May;
  • A home working allowance, and we’ll ensure your home workspace is fully equipped and safe;
  • Flexible working hours. On average, we work 7.5 hours a day, but whether you start later or finish earlier is up to you;
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre. Do you use public transport? This is fully reimbursed;
  • Option to work from abroad for 6 weeks a year;
  • We are affiliated with a collective health insurance provider and your pension w•    We’re affiliated with a group health insurance provider and your pension is well taken care of;
  • The opportunity to develop yourself to the full, both personally and professionally;

Your tools

You’ll need a good sense of humour and a friendly nature, otherwise you’ll have a tough time among our delightfully eccentric colleagues 🤐. You’ll also need:

  • A higher vocational education (HBO) or university degree 🎓 ;
  • Strong analytical skills 🧐 ;
  • Positive energy that inspires others;
  • Plenty of motivation – after all, you’ll be learning a lot!
  • Knowledge of digital advertising isn’t a requirement. An affinity for it, however, is😄! So you can apply without any work experience.
