Dear MARUG Members, 

Due to the current developments concerning the corona outbreak, we would like to inform you about the consequences of this situation regarding the MARUG.

In line with the decisions of the Dutch government, the University of Groningen and the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), the MARUG Board has to inform you that all events and activities until the 1st of June 2020 have been cancelled. This concerns both formal and informal events. The number of participants or attendees does not influence this decision.

The following events and activities are therefore cancelled:

  • Active Members Activity (March 19)

  • (Pre-)MSc Marketing Social (April 8)

  • MARUG Social: Board Announcement (April 9)

  • International Marketing Experience trip and all related activities 

  • InDesign Course (April 24)

  • Sustainable Marketing Event (April 30)This event will presumably be postponed to another date. 

  • MARUG Social (May 7)

  • Grolsch Inhouseday (May 15)

  • Active Members BBQ (May 22) This event will presumably be postponed to another date. 

  • General Members Meeting (May 25) This event will presumably be postponed to another date. 

  • MARUG Social (May 28)


Attention! Due to the uncertainty around Corona, we also extended our deadline for the MARUG board to Thursday the 26th of March!
