Hello Everyone!
My name is Hidde, I am 22 years old and I will be the next External Relations of the MARUG. This is my 4th year in Groningen, where I’m very much enjoying the student life.
I have finished my bachelor's in Business Administration, and after doing a semester abroad in Strasbourg, I wanted to take on a new challenge before starting my masters: Doing a Board Year.
Next to my studies, I like to play tennis, squash, padel (or any other racket sport) and do all kinds of activities with my friends.
Why did I want to do a board year? This was actually an easy decision, after some of my friends who are doing/did a board year told me it was the best year of their student life. So once I was back from abroad, I contacted Robien for a coffee and after our meeting I was immediately excited about the MARUG. After attending some of the socials I was even more convinced about the MARUG and decided to apply!
I’m really looking forward to next year and I am very excited to meet you all at the MARUG events!
