Conference Board 2024-2025

The MARUG Marketing Conference is the largest student marketing conference in the Netherlands. Annually, about 400 students and business participants visit the event. Lectures and workshops related to the theme will take place during the event. Theme’s like "The Jungle of Data," "Marketing 2020,"  “Co-Creation," "Authenticity" and ''Transition of Tactics'' came by previous years. The theme of last year was: ''The Tide of Technology: New heights, Deeper Insights.''

As a Conference Board member, you will be busy organising the Conference for almost a whole year. Doing so, you will gain professional knowledge about event management, and you will get in touch with interesting companies. The topic, quality, and professionality creates the uniqueness of the MARUG Conference, and it is important to maintain these traits. The Conference board is working on the organisation for about 20-25 hours per week. Nevertheless, it differs per function and per week how many hours you need to fulfill the tasks. In the final two months you will spend some extra time on the final organisation. This a Dutch-speaking board. Organising the MARUG Conference is a great opportunity to develop yourself in different ways. You will gain professional knowledge about event management, and besides that you will get in touch with successful companies and their marketing departments.
