Do you have a creative mind? Do you enjoy filming, video editing, or are you interested in social media content creation? Then the Digital Marketing Team is the perfect place for you!
As a member of this committee, you’ll be part of a small team of around four enthusiastic and creative students. Together, you’ll be responsible for shaping the online image of MARUG through photography, videos, blogs, and social media content. You will have the chance to work on various exciting projects—such as creating promotional videos for all MARUG committees, announcing major events like IME, and running a week-long takeover of our social media accounts.
You will also write two blogs that will be published on the MARUG website and LinkedIn page. These blogs are a great opportunity to improve your writing skills and contribute to MARUG’s online presence.
This committee is perfect for those looking for a low-intensity commitment (around 4–6 hours per week), while still wanting to be actively involved in MARUG activities. You’ll attend events to take photos, support promotions, and help show how fun and friendly the MARUG community is.
What makes this team truly special is the creative freedom it offers—you are encouraged to come up with your own ideas, whether it’s starting a TikTok trend, launching a mini-series, or experimenting with new formats of digital promotion. You’ll also work closely with the PR & Promotion board member and receive training to support your development in journalism, marketing, and multimedia.
By the end of your time in the Digital Marketing Team, you’ll have gained hands-on experience with content creation, improved your skills in tools like Adobe, and completed your own creative projects—all while having fun in a dynamic and social committee.
