Career Committee

The Career Committee bridges the gap between MARUG, the Marketing Department, and our Master's students. Rather than running one large event in isolation, the committee combines two things: organising the MSc Marketing Event and keeping Master's students connected to relevant career opportunities.

The MSc Marketing Event is a case-based competition in which leading companies challenge student teams to solve a real marketing case using data (SPSS or R). Teams compete for a cash prize, with the best-performing groups advancing to a final round. Beyond the event, the committee promotes career opportunities through the MARUG Pool and helps organise activities that keep Master's students connected to MARUG and to each other.

You'll meet with your fellow committee members regularly to prepare the event and plan career-related activities. By the end of the year, you'll have learned how to acquire and manage relationships with companies, organise a professional case-based event from start to finish, and connect fellow students to valuable career opportunities.
